It was a not-so-typical Tuesday in Downtown, Tampa. With new stunning whimsical gowns added to Lillie Mae Collection, I thought “We’re painting the town with neutral and spring colors.” and off I go, together with our outstanding dream team, bringing whimsy in the urban jungle!
The concept for this shoot? Twinsies! Since our Cristina and Adin gowns look somewhat similar (but exude very different auras), we figured we’d go for an editorial shoot inspired by “twinning” or “twin dressing” which is a fashion trend referring to two or more people wearing the same set of clothes! Exciting, right? And we just had the perfect sisters in mind to model our dresses, Shaina J Ibanez and Jaihna Ibañez!
Shaina was a stunning bride in Lillie Mae Collection’s taupe Adin gown while Jaihna looked gorgeous in black with the Cristina gown. The sisters truly helped bring the high fashion out of these dresses!
From top to bottom, every single detail is accounted for! Hair Inspired by Ciarra took care of the bridal hairstyle, pulling their lovely hair back into fabulous high buns while letting some curls loose to frame the ladies’ beautiful faces. Speaking of faces, I am so in love with the makeup! Crystal Konz did not disappoint! She just knew what to do! The makeup look is definitely editorial but without overshadowing the natural beauty that Shaina and Jaihna already have. Just perfect!!
We are also super stoked to see the full look translated with the Emi for this editorial shoot! This all-white bridal look was completed with this elegant Bella veil by Yuri Chang Bride, and a top-notch bridal bouquet arranged by the ever so lovely Emily Rose Valentine!
As I have mentioned, we’re also bringing spring to the streets of Downtown, Tampa! Lo-and-behold, the Ibañez sisters in Lillie Mae Collection’s Peachy Flora and Camelia gowns! To perfect their ensembles, Emily Rose Valentine crafted bouquets of vibrant anemone and rose blooms! I’m honestly obsessed with the “girls just wanna have fun” vibe from this!
This was such a fun editorial shoot to bring to life! I love how we get different energy from different palettes but with equally pleasing outcomes in a visual aspect. A very well-rounded editorial shoot, I must say!
