Terrie Images and Cala Lane set the scene with storytelling pieces and this gorgeous backdrop of a location. We navigated the many paths that make Bok Towers enchanting. Bok Towers is a gem located in Lake Wales and it was the perfect location for this dreamy session. We took all of the natural elements around us to really hone in on Cala Lane’s brand image and we couldn’t be happier about it. I was very excited to curate this session for Clarisa, the amazing woman behind Cala Lane!
Clarisa is a brand designer who loves to incorporate sophistication in her designs. She wants the brands she works with to exude luxury, and she tailors each design around her client’s needs. She constantly produces outstanding results. I can attest to this! After all, she designed the logos for Terrie Images and Lillie Mae Collection, and I am in love with how elegant they look! True to Cala Lane’s mission, indeed!
Have I told you yet? She personally hand-paints her designs! Talk about hands-on. *wink*
As I watched her paint, I felt the passion she has in her creations, and it was just an honor witnessing this great artist in her creative mode! It was truly heartwarming and fascinating.
When we sat down to plan this branding session, I thought about wanting to make it dreamy and true to Clarisa. Between the two of us, we were in creative land! As artists, don’t we need to daydream a bit to get in touch with our creativity? Imagination is our tool! Say amen if you agree! Second, I wanted this session to reflect on her artistry and her process. Every nook of our surroundings was accounted for! We asked ourselves in both the planning and executing process, ” How will this serve Clarisa and her brand?” It is always a puzzle waiting to be solved. We love troubleshooting and solving for our clients. We love the impact an image can have on your brand. We are gracious for our role in helping connect you to your clients visually and allowing them to be a part of your process.
For example, Clarisa is surrounded by nature, specifically with flowers and colors that resonate with the pieces she creates. We are serving her while also serving her clients! It’s really a domino effect that we take seriously. The elements you see in these photos are elements you often see in her work! We also utilized her painting tools to represent how she tailors her pieces to each client in a unique way! Every design she creates is truly a masterpiece. Altogether, we wanted this editorial branding session to reflect Clarisa and her works: calm, relaxing, pleasing to the eyes, and luxurious.
You’ve read this far, and I hope you have a good idea about how our Editorial Branding Sessions tell your brand story perfectly. If not, let me tell you why you need to do it! You’re probably thinking, “I don’t need it. I can just use stock photos.”
Trust me, you don’t want to do that! If you want to appear credible to your audience, you will need genuine photos of how your process works. If you use stock photos for your website or graphics, chances are, people will turn away thinking your brand is not authentic. Using professional photography will help improve your brand image. You can personalize your shoots more, choose what you want to showcase, and customize how you want your brand to be presented. In addition, you’ll have a gallery filled with photos that you can reuse to your heart’s content! It would be more efficient and cost-effective as you won’t have to pay for new stock photos again and again. You basically have a ton of supply for your marketing materials that can be used on all of your platforms!
So if you’re still contemplating having your own editorial branding session, DO IT! Trust me, it will make an enormous difference and you can create a story worth sharing!
