I am always so so ecstatic when I have the chance to curate a branding session for fellow creatives. Why? Well, as a  business owner myself who is in the wedding industry, I understand the importance of having professional photography involved. I know how it can effectively serve a business especially a creative-based business. Hence, when someone decides to do it, I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement for them as I know the significant difference it can bring to one’s brand!

I have close friends who are entrepreneurs themselves, and I always encourage them to have a branding session. Now, I am encouraging everyone to do it including YOU! I have listed down 5 reasons why YOU should go for it, and if my words aren’t convincing enough, I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves! I have gathered some talented individuals to meet me at The Meet Suite for their branding sessions! We absolutely love this location because it offers variety to our clients who want to stay indoors!

  1. We are all customers or consumers. When we purchase an item or service, what do we factor before making the final decision? Is it the quality? The process? The cleanliness? It depends! What matters most is we buy from brands that speak to us the most. We must resonate with our clients and there is no better way to do that than putting your face to your brand!

Let me use my session with Kate as an example. Kate with (@katesglamour) is a beautiful lady fascinated with all things beauty! She is the founder of Moshika Beauty (@moshikabeauty), selling cruelty-free and vegan eyelashes and eyelash kits to her customers. Before shipping her products, she personally sanitizes the items while ensuring everything is of top-notch quality! Do her photos give that kind of impression? Her photos share how amazing kate is and how her process works! We personally have purchased her adhesive eye-liner for lashes and it’s my favorite! I have the transparent one because I don’t like too much eyeliner on my big brown eyes! It’s amazing!!

2. It Helps Build Credibility

I’m sure many (if not all) desire customer loyalty. We do this by increasing our brand credibility through the quality of our products, customer service, and just the overall experience with the brand. But how do we let those who haven’t experienced us know they can trust us? Feature our own products and services in the photos. With a branding session, we can do just that.

Let’s take a look at some of Jennifer’s (@jenniferbeautyco) amazing session. She is a make-up artist specializing in bridal and special events beautification! I wanted to show that she’s a professional at what she does, and when it comes to her skills, she’s one of the best! We made sure to include not only her accessories that provide her clients but also her personality. This way, her potential clients will understand that when she says she’s going to make you stunning, she will deliver! Just look at her-isn’t she fabulous!!

3. To Showcase Your Products & Services

Unbeknownst to many, Mill Pond Estate (@millpondestate) is not only a breathtaking historical venue. They also provide floral services! In this session, we wanted to show how stunning their floral arrangements are and that if you need them, Mill Pond Estate can do it! She creates stunning arrangements that we love and adore!!!

4. To Create Your Brand Image

As an entrepreneur with a big or small business, you now know the importance of brand image. In the brand image, consistency is what makes your business stand out. It is how you set your brand apart from your competitors. Let’s say you have this part of branding already established. How should you execute this? I’ve said it before and I’ll say it OVER and OVER again….. A Branding session! If you opt to present your brand with the help of professional photography, we can tailor the session according to your brand image.

For example, Viole’s Under The Sweets (@violesunderthesweets) is a dessert shop that features delicious homemade baked goods. In each baking process, Viole (the owner) is present! She wants to ensure things are done right before serving her products! 

5. Brand Individuality

As I have previously mentioned in Creative Editorial Branding Session at Bok Towers, don’t use too many stock photos! Stock photos may be affordable, but you want to be authentic and connect with your clients. Keep in mind stock images are readily available for anyone to use so chances are, another business might be using the same image/s as you are. If that is the case then how can you make your brand stand out!? You must be able to feature the elements that are unique to your brand to serve your clients well. Give your brand its individuality. Consider a branding session so you can tailor how you want your brand to be presented.

I hope I have convinced you to do a branding session. You have worked hard to grow your business, so you deserve nothing but the best! Trust me, a branding session is worth it!
