Every year, we look forward to the day we get together with family to count our blessings and be thankful for the grace we receive while sharing a hearty meal. While I love filling my stomach and catching up with Great Aunt Myrna, I especially enjoy decorating and creating a beautiful fall tablescape so the family can relish Thanksgiving in a lovely dinner setting!

Terrie Images and Oak & Ash Events headed over to Paradise Spring Wedding to create eye-catching fall table displays to inspire and help you impress your loved ones on Thanksgiving!

Minimalist

With more and more people embracing minimalism, this simple yet elegant all-white tablescape will surely make the perfect design to represent the lifestyle. As a minimalist myself, my tip for you to achieve this look is to grab your white linen and set your table with wares and decor that you already have at home. There is no need to buy brand-new and expensive ones. Just bring out those candle holders that you use for candlelit dinners and add in some greenery as an accent. You can be as creative and resourceful as you can be! Chic and Modern

Chic And Modern

If you feel like eating your share of turkey in a more chic and modern setting, going for a neutral black-and-white palette really does the job. In this table setting, we chose white as the base color and black as the accent to create the mood we were going for. There’s definitely something about black that makes everything more chic and classy, and we’re loving it!

Gingham

Nothing says picnic more than gingham patterns! Adding some gingham table napkins or linen to the tablescape will surely help set the mood, especially if you’re planning an outdoor thanksgiving affair or if you simply want to bring the picnic indoors. The pattern also adds texture to your tablescape, making the dinner table more interesting, sweet, and lively!

French-Inspired Plums

Thanksgiving is a special occasion, and now is the time to break out the fine dinner plates and cutlery! They deserve to be removed from the display shelves now and then, especially those with intricate details of hand-painted florals. If you want to bring Versailles into your dining room, pair them with lace table linens and gold cutlery. Add some greenery and plum tones to the palette and you’re done! You now have a French-inspired fall tablescape that will surely make your guests feel like royalty!!

Cottagecore

Cottagecore has been the buzz throughout the pandemic. Understandably so, many were taken to the appeal of sustainability while achieving that fairytale-esque aesthetic. Think of shabby chic + elements of nature = coziness = cottagecore. Now bring those elements to the table for your fall tablescape and you’re good to go. If you have some antiques to add in, go ahead! Vintage just falls right within the theme!

Warm Tones

Warm palettes are extremely popular during the season of fall. May it be in fashion, wedding themes, or even in interior design, there are some tones that we often see. It is probably our way of mimicking the natural colors of autumn outdoors. We’re talking about colors like olive green, pumpkin orange, dark hazelnut, and some classic yellow. What better way to celebrate a fall holiday than to create a tablescape bearing the colors of the season, right?

Something Blue

Are you planning on adding some pizzazz to the dinner table by bringing those fine china out? Add in some colors that will complement the blue. For example, in our tablescape, we figured warm gold tones would be a delicious complement to the blue dinner plates. Just make sure you’re not overcrowding your tabletop; otherwise, it will be hard for those beautiful porcelain wares to stand out!

We hope we were able to inspire you to create your own stunning fall table for your Thanksgiving dinner! Making memorable moments, breaking bread, and sharing laughter over a delicious meal on a stunning table display is definitely a great way of celebrating the holiday! Happy Thanksgiving!
