Another celebration of love that I got to capture! Or should I say…extended celebration? We’ll get to that later, but first, let me gush on how I just absolutely love how Bella Collina’s (Monteverde, FL) Tuscan-inspired architecture makes this shoot extra romantic!!! I don’t know about you, but I just felt butterflies while directing this shoot. It’s like watching Romeo and Juliet being brought to life, getting another chance at a happy ending. I had to slap myself back to reality and remind myself that it’s Vanessa and Alan! Their story is different, but their love is just as magical. I mean, you can see it in they hold each other!!!
Eyes that are as bright and clear as that sunny day in Florida. Eyes that mirror the astounding love they have for one another. It’s probably because they have nothing else to worry about. No pre-wedding jitters, no wedding preparations to take care of, and all other things that come on a wedding day! It was just one intimate afternoon for our new bride and groom.
Now, and there are three reasons why, like Vanessa and Alan, you should schedule your bride and groom portraits. First, on the D-day, it can be busy, maybe a little stressful because you just want everything to be perfect. Guests are also around and you WILL be flooded with congratulatory greetings and messages. I say you go, girl! Get those congratulations! You deserve them! However, you might not find enough time to shoot for that bridal portrait of your dreams.
If you schedule your photoshoot on a different day than your wedding day, there are just soooo many things that can fall into place. Here’s where I get to my second point. THE WEATHER. The weather can play a big part in how your bridal portraits can go. It’s a good thing we have more accurate forecasts nowadays to give us the opportunity to book a day where we know there will be sun!
Lastly, we can focus more on the shoot itself. From the location like the ever so majestic Bella Collina in Monteverde, Florida, the details like this wonderful bouquet, the hairpieces, the gown, and everything else! We can plan and include all of those things if you choose to have your bride and groom portraits, just like Vanessa and Alan did.
Now, look at how theirs turned out! All smiles, no stress, just love in the photos! How about you? Would you choose to have an extended celebration?
