Every first Tuesday of the month a few of my favorite gals and I meet together and create a safe space for moms and ladies by creating an open dialogue for support, advice, and encouragement!
This month we wanted to talk about, “ Date Night, Time Away, And Lingerie”! We truly had a blast! We even played a little game of this or that! Are you someone who likes a romantic night or a night in the city? Or are you someone who likes taking long walks on the beach or setting up a picnic!? Stay tuned as we recap date night, creating time for your partner (at home and away) , and lingerie!
Date Night
Let’s talk date night! Did you know that date night starts well before the actual night of the date!? Yes!!! Date night starts when you first lay eyes on each other! Date night begins with intention! The word for this is recap is , INTENTION! Before date night begins you need to understand who you are and who your spouse is. You need to understand their love language! When you get to learn your love language and your partner’s love language you guys can serve each other well when it comes to prepping for the perfect date night! If you haven’t read the , The Five Love Languages, put it on your to-do list! You won’t regret it! The five love languages are words, time, gifts, acts, and touch! Look at the chart below, which love language, are you!? Are you someone who loves words of information or someone who loves quality time? Think of what your love language is and ask your partner! Keep in mind while you are soul searching that you can have more than one love language!
Now that you’ve learned more about your love language and your partners’, you can start planning for your date night with INTENTION . There’s that word again!
Time Away
A really good quote that I love is a quote by Benjamin Franklin, “ if you fail to plan, you are planning to fail.” No one walks into any relationship of any sort and plan on failing in it.
No one goes into a marriage and says I want to go into this knowing I will not make it! When you create time away , have a meeting with your partner and go to the drawing board! Plan out what you’ll like to do together this year, this week, today.. brainstorm and think of each others love languages! It will serve you well! Once you have an idea about what you want to do- put it on the calendar! Write it out and make it plain! This is how you can plan to create time away!
Some really great date night ideas could be going to a museum, an arcade, beach, or trying a new hobby together!! There are so many things you can together! One of my best memories is my hubby and I going skating together- here’s the thing we can’t really skate! It was so fun and we had to lean on each other and honestly I can’t wait to do it again! Just sharing that date with you is putting a smile on my face!
After date night us ladies and especially our guys are sometimes thinking of what happens behind closed doors- you guessed it we are talking about Lingerie and sex in a whole new light!

It’s time for some one-on-one time with our partner and we want to dress up in negligee but we aren’t sure why we don’t feel our confident self! We will be diving into lingerie for your body type! We will be talking about the best lingerie just for YOU! We will be covering the following body types,
